1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible - Gorgeous , 61K Miles - A/C - WOW!

This 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible is one of the nicest examples you will find. It has been a single-owner car since the 2017, came out of Oklahoma with about 61K miles, and retains its original red leather interior. The car underwent a comprehensive cosmetic restoration in 2018. Red on red with an ivory white convertible top, this is a solid, rust-free, super straight car that drives as nicely as it shows.

Exterior:
The car was originally Olympic White and was professionally color changed to Seminole Red, which in our opinion is the best color combination for a 1960 Eldorado convertible. The paint was done during the 2019 restoration and presents excellently throughout, with great fit and finish. All the chrome and stainless trim looks beautiful, either redone or in amazing original condition. The anodized front and rear grilles look like outstanding original pieces. The body is solid, rust-free, and very straight. There are a couple of small touched-up chips on the hard boot from being taken on and off. The ivory white convertible top was also redone around 2019 and the power top works as it should.

Interior:
The interior is the highlight of this car. The original red Florentine and Cardiff leather, which combines two different grains and was exclusive to the Eldorado, remains in excellent condition. The seats, door panels, and dash are all original and the leather is still soft and supple. The dash pad is an excellent original, the steering wheel presents beautifully, and all the correct Eldorado interior trim and galley details are present. The carpet has been replaced. All the interior lights work, the gauges work, the radio has been rebuilt and works, the power antenna works, the power windows all work, the power seat works, and all the glass is excellent. The only items that do not work are the clock and the air conditioning, which simply needs to be charged and serviced.

Mechanical:
Under the hood is correct, factory appearing, and beautifully detailed. The car has its numbers matching 390ci 345hp Tri-Power engine with the correct air cleaner. It runs and drives very nicely, tight and solid, the way a low mile Cadillac should. The cruise control is not currently functional and the washer bottle is also not working at this time.

Underside and Trunk:
The trunk has been redone with the correct material and the correct spare, hold down, jack, and trunk components are all in place. The underside is solid and rust-free.

Closing:
These cars come in two conditions: nice or not nice, and this is a nice one. It is a strong number two car that does not need anything to be enjoyed or shown. In person it is a traffic stopper, one of the most striking 1960 Cadillacs you will find, and it presents as beautifully as it drives.
