1975 Honda CB200T
1975 Honda CB200T, 568 Believed-Original Miles, Tahiti Red, All Original, WOW!
This 1975 Honda CB200T is one of the finest examples we have seen. Acquired as part of a private collection that included several cars and three motorcycles, this bike presented immediately as something special, and an inspection by a well-known local motorcycle specialist confirmed what we suspected: this is an all-original, numbers-matching machine that has clearly spent the majority of its 50-year life in storage rather than on the road. At just 568 miles believed to be original, this CB200T is as close to time-capsule condition as they come.

Condition:
Exterior: The Tahiti Red and black two-tone finish presents beautifully throughout. Paint, chrome, and trim are all consistent with a very low-mile original bike that has been stored rather than ridden. The original Yokohama tires, front and rear, appear to be the factory originals and show no cracking or deterioration beyond their age. Original helmet stickers are intact on the tank.
Interior/Controls: The original seat upholstery is in gorgeous condition with no tears or sagging. Gauges, switches, horn, and all lighting functions are fully operational. The handlebars, levers, and controls all present in excellent original condition.
Mechanical: The 198cc parallel-twin fired right up and runs, drives, and shifts exactly as it should. All lights, horn, and gauges are fully functional. The gas tank was found dry and clean inside. This bike was serviced and confirmed by a local motorcycle specialist who called it the real deal and his favorite of the collection.
Underside: Consistent with a stored, low-mile original. No signs of abuse, crash damage, or repairs.
We are not motorcycle specialists, but we know original low-mile vehicles when we see them, and this CB200T is absolutely the real deal. The CB200T has a strong and loyal following for its simplicity, reliability, and ease of maintenance. Museum-quality examples like this are increasingly hard to find, and we do not expect it to stay available for long.
