1966 Chevrolet C10
1966 Chevrolet C10 Custom 4x4 – Frame-Off Restored, 350 V8, 4-Speed!
This 1966 Chevrolet C10 Custom short bed 4x4 is the final year of one of the best-looking body styles Chevrolet ever built. Older frame-off restored roughly 10 to 15 years ago, it's a clean, solid truck that spent most of its life in Texas and recently came out of an estate in Northern Wisconsin. Factory light green with a white top and white mid-body trim, it rides on a late-70s GM 4x4 chassis and is powered by a strong 350 V8 with a 4-speed manual. It has excellent curb appeal with minor flaws and is ready to drive, show, and use.

Condition:
Exterior:
Finished in the awesome color of factory light green with white roof and trim, the truck presents well with nice shine and stance. Minor scratches, touched-up areas, a few small dings, and some paint bubbles from its time in Wisconsin are present and clearly shown in the video. All glass is clean, chrome is bright, and body lines are straight. The bed is protected with a spray-in liner and has chrome bed rails. Chrome bumpers are in great shape.
Interior:
Interior is clean and painted to match the exterior. Light green dash and cab panels, newer light green vinyl bench seat. Original gauge cluster with added Pro tach. Custom CD stereo installed. Billet steering wheel with dark wood grain. Gas gauge and dome light are not working, but all other gauges and lights function.
Mechanical:
The 350 V8 runs strong and smooth. Fresh tune-up with a new carburetor, electronic ignition, and solid exhaust note from dual pipes. Mated to a heavy-duty SM465 4-speed and a Dana 205 gear-driven transfer case. 4WD system operates as it should. Power steering and front disc brakes make it easy to drive.
Underside:
Riding on a late-70s GM chassis, this truck has solid bones. Frame, cab corners, and floors are in great shape. No visible rust-through or structural concerns. Suspension and drivetrain components look clean and well-maintained. It's a dry, honest underside.
In Closing:
This truck looks right, runs strong, and has the upgrades that make it usable. It's a frame-off restored classic with great style, real 4x4 capability, and a solid body. Take it to shows, haul gear, or drive it anywhere. It's a sharp short box ready to be enjoyed.
