1960 Chevrolet El Camino

1960 Chevrolet El Camino Restomod- Full Body-Off Build, A/C, Only 3K Miles - WOW
The Ultimate Classic Cruiser – Built to Show, Drive, and Impress
Here's a rare chance to own one of the cleanest, most tastefully built Restomod El Caminos you'll ever lay eyes on. This 1960 Chevrolet El Camino has undergone a complete, rotisserie, nut-and-bolt restoration that took over four years to complete. Every inch of this car – from the body to the drivetrain to the last piece of trim – has been meticulously restored or upgraded. With just under 3,000 miles since the build, it's essentially a brand-new car. The 1959-60 El Caminos are the most desirable El Caminos around and very rarely come available for sale.
Originally a California car, it began life with a rock-solid foundation with a super straight body. Finished in gorgeous jet black paint over a full custom red interior, this El Camino combines classic style with modern performance and amenities, making it the perfect mix of show and go.

Condition Overview:
Exterior:
The body on this El Camino is truly excellent. It started as a rust-free California car with laser-straight panels and solid metal throughout. The mirror-finish jet black paint is deep and glossy. Every piece of chrome and stainless trim was either replaced or professionally restored – including the bumpers, moldings, emblems, and all the polished aluminum accents. The glass is brand new all around with fresh weatherstripping and felts, giving it a clean, crisp look. With 17-inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and the aggressive stance to match, this El Camino demands attention at every stoplight.
Interior:
Step inside and you'll find a fully custom, show-quality interior finished in bold red soft leatherette with German weave carpeting. The bucket seats are plush and comfortable, matched with red seatbelts and a custom-built center console that houses an AM/FM/CD stereo and LED-lit cupholders. The billet tilt steering wheel, billet knobs, and door hardware give it a refined custom touch, while the Mooneyes gauges bring vintage cool to the dash. Every inch of the interior – from the dash to the headliner – has been restored or replaced with attention to detail.
Mechanical / Under the Hood:
Under the hood is a rebuilt 350ci small block Chevy V8, paired with an aluminum Edelbrock intake and carburetor, finned valve covers, and matching air cleaner – all polished for a high-end show finish. The powertrain runs strong, idles smooth, and starts easily. It's kept cool with a large aluminum radiator, and the Vintage Air A/C blows ice cold. The electrical system is backed by a high-output chrome alternator and top-tier Odyssey battery with an automatic shut-off for storage. Wilwood manual disc brakes on the front have been tuned to provide power brake feel, delivering impressive stopping power.
Underside:
The underside of this El Camino is as clean as the top. It's fully detailed, rust-free, and shows like it's never been driven in the rain. From the rebuilt suspension to the custom dual exhaust system that exits cleanly through the center rear, every inch underneath is finished and presentable. You'll be proud to put this car on a lift at any car show.
Extras:
The car comes with a complete binder that's 5-6 inches thick. That is basically the car's owner's manual. Like all the equipment in it, all the manuals, everything that's in the car, a lot of receipts, but just the whole story about the car all broke down from interior, exterior all categorized. It's a very cool item to have in this car to show directions of how everything works and operates. Great to have with a custom built car like this.
Closing Statement:
You simply won't find another El Camino like this – not at this level, not with this attention to detail, and certainly not for what it would cost to build one today. It's equal parts cruiser, show car, and investment-grade Restomod. Every nut, bolt, and panel tells the story of a passionate, no-compromise build. If you're looking for a standout classic that's ready to drive, show, and enjoy without lifting a wrench – this is it.
