This car is being offered by Bob Adams, a name well known in the Kaiser Darrin world. Bob has personally restored over a dozen Darrins, including multiple award-winning, body-off restorations—some setting world records at Barrett-Jackson. He currently owns the last Kaiser Darrin ever built. This particular car was meant to be his next project, but with his time focused on completing that final Darrin, he's chosen to let someone else bring this exceptional example back to life. According to Bob, this is the best unrestored Darrin he's ever had to start with—straight, untouched, and complete.

A True Time Capsule with an Incredible History:
Originally stored in an Ohio garage for over 55 years, the previous owner had removed the body for paint and restored the chassis in the late 1960s. But after receiving a disappointing paint job, he lost motivation and parked the car indefinitely. The car has remained disassembled but complete ever since.

Engine & Transmission:
This Darrin retains its original Willys F-head 161ci inline-six engine and three-speed manual transmission with factory overdrive. The engine turns freely and it appears mechanically complete. The transmission and drivetrain components are all present. The chassis was mechanically restored decades ago, but due to long-term storage, a full mechanical recommissioning is advised.
