1962 Lincoln Continental Sedan, 54k Original Miles, One-Family Owned Survivor!

If you're searching for an unmolested, all-original classic that tells a story with every detail, this 1962 Lincoln Continental four-door sedan is the real deal. With just 54,000 original miles, a one-family ownership history, and nearly untouched from new, this is a rare survivor in every sense. Never restored, never modified, and full of authentic Texas history, this Continental has lived its entire life in the dry Amarillo climate and proudly wears its originality. With just a little love, it's ready to return to the road in all its former glory.

A Story Worth Telling:
Sold new on February 17, 1962, at Rentfrow Motor Company in Borger, Texas, this Lincoln remained with the original owner, Frank Warren of Amarillo, until 2010, when it passed to his nephew. We acquired it directly from the family, and the documentation backs the story: original owner's manual, warranty booklet with Frank's name and address, and the original owner's plaque still mounted in the car. It also retains its 1962 Texas license plate on the front and features a vintage Texas A&M decal in the rear passenger window—a nostalgic touch and a true piece of Texas history that's been riding along for decades.

Condition Overview:
Exterior:
Finished in its factory Sultana White, the car retains its original paint. The left side, hood, roof, and trunk show beautifully. The right rear quarter and door have some cosmetic blemishes, likely from a light garage scrape. The chrome trim in that area could be polished or refinished. The bumpers show well with light patina, and the remaining chrome and trim are bright and excellent overall. All glass is original and in excellent condition. The body is completely rust-free and presents with a strong, clean shine.
Interior:
The all-original Honey Beige leather and Fawn Rosette cloth interior is impressively preserved. The dash pad is perfect, the carpet and headliner are clean, and the steering wheel appears nearly new. An altimeter was mounted on the dash early in its life and can be easily removed if desired. The glove box retains its original liner, working light, and oil change stickers. All tested accessories are in working order.
Mechanical:
The Lincoln has been stored in a private collection and off the road for several years. A new battery was installed recently, and the engine turns over freely. It will need standard recommissioning to run and drive, including a fuel system refresh (with a new gas tank), carb rebuild, full tune-up, fluid flush, and brake service. The cooling system should also be inspected. These needs are typical of long-stored cars, and this one remains mechanically complete and an excellent candidate for revival.
Trunk & Underside:
The trunk is clean and complete with its original liner, spare tire, jack, and cover. The weatherstripping remains soft and intact. The underside is solid, dry, and rust-free with no signs of damage or repair.

Final Words:
You don't come across survivors like this very often. With its documented Texas history, one-family ownership, low original miles, and remarkable originality, this Continental is a true time capsule. Whether you choose to preserve it as-is, bring it to the next level, or use it as the foundation for a high-end custom build, you're starting with one of the most authentic and well-preserved examples around.
