1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III - 460ci V8 - Cold A/C - Leather - Estate Find!

We recently acquired this 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III from a gentleman's estate. This car was his pride and joy for the last 15 years, and it shows in how well it was cared for. It's an easy, comfortable driver with classic luxury appeal — ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. Priced to sell quickly, this Lincoln is perfect for someone looking for a solid cruiser that doesn't need to be a showpiece to enjoy.

Car Overview & History:
This Lincoln has been kept indoors its entire life, and although I've only driven it briefly, it handles smoothly and runs strong. The previous owner's family recently had a tune-up done, including carburetor work and brake adjustments, so it's in solid mechanical condition. This is the kind of car you can jump in and drive without needing to do anything. It's a nice survivor with only one repaint

Condition Breakdown:

Exterior:
The car has had one repaint in its original medium blue color, and while the paint looks great overall, there are a few minor imperfections worth noting. Some touched-up chips and a small area of paint cracking on the right side of the hood (about 6"x2") are visible upon close inspection. Additionally, there's a small bubble beneath the vinyl top near the rear window. The bright and shiny original chrome trim and bumpers show wonderfully, with the window trim and vinyl top remaining in great shape. The flip-up headlights function properly, adding to this Lincoln's classic charm.

Interior:
The original black leather interior is in solid condition, with only the driver's seat bolsters replaced. The steering wheel is free of cracks and looks fantastic, with the unique rim blow horn still working perfectly. The dashboard and carpets are very nice and clean. The factory A/C blows cold, and the power seat and front power windows function well, though the rear windows are currently not operating. All other features, including the gauges, wipers, and courtesy lights, are in working order. The trunk is clean and includes the correct spare and jack.

Mechanical:
Powered by the robust 460 V8, this Lincoln starts up easily and drives smoothly. A recent mechanical refresh included work on the carburetor and brakes, ensuring it's road-ready. It rides on newer tires with plenty of tread remaining. Under the hood, everything is clean and well-maintained, reflecting the car's overall level of care.
