1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Custom - 440ci - A/C - Total Restoration - Awesome Car

Introducing the beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A custom — a true beauty inside and out. This car has undergone a complete rotisserie restoration and shows wonderfully. There was no expense spared on this build, and it has been fully equipped to the max. It features a fully built 440ci engine, a built 727 trans with a Gearvendors overdrive system, vintage A/C, power windows, Dana 60 rear end, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, tubular suspension with coilovers, a huge stereo, and the list goes on, which I will detail below. You couldn't ask for more in a ready-to-drive Muscle car.

Quick story: we acquired this car with two other Mopars from the original builder's estate. According to the family, this one was his pride and joy. He started with a nice solid, rust-free 1970 Challenger and spent over six figures and several years building his dream car with no cost limit, and it's noticeable that everything was done right. Once finished, he drove the car quite a bit until becoming ill in 2020, and the car was put in storage. After his passing, we purchased all the cars from his estate just a few months ago. We went through this car thoroughly to get it back on the road and to being the street machine it was meant to be, which included all new tires, fuel system, tune-up, new fluids, etc. It's ready to hit the streets once again.

This bad boy has an amazing look, finished in Burnt Orange and painted-on Black Stripes under multiple layers of clear coat for a mile-deep shine. To add to its aggressive look, it has a black fiberglass T/A hood, black rear spoiler, black vinyl top, 17-inch custom American Racing wheels, and a mean stance. Inside, the matching burnt orange leather interior is all new, all OEM, and looks amazing with factory buckets and a center console. Under the hood is beautifully detailed with all chrome and billet components and a serpentine belt system. I can keep going because the more you look at the car, the more you find, but I will list as much as I can below.

Current Condition:

I am unsure when the restoration was finished, but it was prior to 2020.
It was a full, every nut and bolt rotisserie restoration and came with some photos of the restoration.
The car was done right and was a quality restoration with no expense spared.
It is a beautiful Burnt Orange paint finish, super straight sides, with excellent fit and finish.
The black stripes are under multiple coats of clear for a deep finish.
Rust-free body that was sandblasted inside and out, sprayed with rust prevention and undercoated underbody.
The interior was all brand new and looks excellent throughout.
Beautiful all-new chrome and brightwork.
All-new glass and weather-stripping.
Highly detailed under the hood.
Mechanically in excellent condition as everything was replaced or rebuilt during the restoration.
Beautifully detailed underside with powder-coated frame and suspension components.
In full disclosure, this is not a factory T/A; it is a custom. It started life as a high-optioned 318ci Challenger, now has the T/A look.
Upon purchasing it, we replaced the tires, rebuilt the carburetor, gave it a tune-up, a new serpentine belt, and replaced the battery.
Most everything appears to work in the car.
Since we got the car out of an estate, we do not know everything about it, and a few items need attention yet for it to be perfect.
What it needs yet: We have not tested and don't know how to operate the Gear Vendors overdrive system; the speedo does not work, the air conditioning needs to be charged, it needs one piece of rubber on the passenger door yet, and that is about it. All easy fixes
It is an amazing running and driving car.
