It has been a California car since new with only 2 owners. The car was sold new in Redding, CA at Colby G. Smith Cadillac and was mostly driven to church on Sundays by the original owner. In 1997, it was purchased by the second owner on his 61st birthday. Both owners took meticulous care of this beauty its entire life, as shown in every aspect. Even the original California black plate that has been on this car since day one looks brand new, matching the numbered keychain. What an amazing find!

The car retains its original Olympic white paint finish that looks amazing. All the chrome, trim, and brightwork are all original and gleam like new. All the original glass is crystal clear, and it even has all original weather stripping that looks new and as pliable as it was in the 1960s. All four of the original hubcaps are perfect, wrapped with brand new wide whitewall tires. Under the hood is equally untouched and original, in absolutely mint condition and virtually untouched with hardly any wear, as a 29k mile car should be.

The interior is even more impressive, with all-original carpet, upholstery, and, I will say, the nicest, most well-preserved original interior I have ever seen in any vehicle of this vintage. Look closely at my pictures and video, and you will discover just what I am talking about. Just look at the detail on the door jams, the impeccable dash and gauge cluster, and the perfect steering wheel. The original carpet has been protected since day one with full mats that are still in the car today. The trunk is in pristine and all-original condition as well. This beauty spent its life in California, making it 100% rust-free and solid as a rock.

This 1962 Cadillac is for the collector who wants only the best and cherishes originality. I have owned hundreds of vintage Cadillacs over the years, and for the 1950s & 1960s vintage, this is one of the nicest originals I have ever owned, and I would say it has the nicest original interior I have ever seen in one.
