1958 Cadillac Coupe DeVille - Loaded - A/C - TX Car - 53k Miles - Estate Find!

This 1958 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is in excellent condition inside and out. It appears to be a survivor with only one repaint and shows only 53k miles, believed to be original. We recently acquired this car from a gentleman's estate in Houston, Texas, where he had owned it since 1993, stored in climate-controlled storage along with his 10 other classic cars. The car has a very cool history, being a true lifelong Houston, Texas car, originally purchased by the wife of a prominent Texas oil family, the Kirbys. The car retains much of its original paperwork from new. It's a rare and cool find, loaded with great factory options like rare factory air conditioning.

It's finished in very pretty Somerset Blue with an Alpine White roof and appears to have had one repaint over 30 years ago, yet still shows great. It also looks to have all original chrome and trim, which again shows very well for what I would consider a nice survivor Cadillac. The blue cloth and leather interior also appear mostly original and in excellent condition. This car was very well taken care of and stored properly. All the chrome and trim inside are wonderful, including a perfect dash pad and flawless steering wheel. And to top it off, most everything works in the car, including a wonderful sounding original AM radio!

Mechanically, we had the car checked out, going through the brakes, fluids, and fuel system after coming out of long-term storage. It runs and drives great and is only getting better with use. Cars like this, especially in this kind of survivor condition, are rare finds. As stated before, we recently acquired this car as part of a collection in Houston, TX. This is the first time it's been available to the public in decades. It has always been stored inside and is completely rust-free. Overall, this is a spectacular car with just the right amount of patina to make a fun driver that you don't have to worry about getting its first chip. Don't wait, as it won't last long, and it will be hard to find another one like it again with so much history and documentation.
