1974 Porsche 914 2.0 Targa - 2 Owner Palm Springs, CA Car - Needs Restoration!

Here is a very cool and very rare barn find 1974 Porsche 914 Targa. It's a true 2-Owner southern California car from the resort town of Palm Springs, CA, complete with its original CA blue plates, California pink slip, and registrations. This factory triple black car retains its correct, original engine. The 1974 914-4 2.0 is noted for its unique styling and engaging driving experience, making it a sought-after model for Porsche enthusiasts and collectors.

This particular car has been sitting since the early 1980's, as I was told. It appears very complete and mostly untouched, presenting a great restoration opportunity. With the increasing value and rarity of these cars, this is a great find. Being a southern California car, it is almost completely rust-free, except for some light surface rust and a bit on the rear trunk floor.

The car does not run or drive, and no attempts have been made to make it operational. We simply cleaned it up a bit and put it up for sale. I'm not a Porsche restorer, but I know the challenge of finding solid cars. I've been into classic cars my whole life and often get calls about interesting automobiles, like this one.
