1934 Wolseley 4-Dr. Saloon - RARE, Original Survivor - Impressive Time Capsule!

Here is an exceptionally well preserved and cared for 1934 Wolseley Model Sixteen 4-Dr Saloon.
Offered out of a large private collection here in Scottsdale, Arizona. This car is one of a total production
run of 2232 Wolseley Sixteen's. It is reportedly one of only 6 of these cars imported into the USA when new
and of those, one of only two known to still exist.

Wolseley Motors Limited was a British Motor Vehicle manufacturer founded in 1901 and initially made
a full range of cars topped by large Luxury cars. In 1927, Morris Motors Empire took control until 1952,
so this car was built by Morris Motors.

This is truly one of the Luxury cars of its day with many advancements and refinements that would
only be found on high-end cars!

The more one looks this interesting car over, the more unique and remarkable it becomes!

The body and sheet metal are rock solid and totally rust-free! The wood in the body appears to be in
day one condition. Cosmetically, the car appears to be 95+% original and in exceptional condition
for its age. Other than some spot repair on the fenders, the paint is original and even has some
remnants of the original pinstriping still present in spots. The entire leather interior is original and
other than some torn bolsters on the front bottom seat cushions, the interior is in exceptional condition!
It has a beautiful varnished wooden interior window and door trim and intricate multi-level wooden dash!
The glass is all in great shape and includes some of the original glass with the old mold marks still visible.

The car does run and drive quite well but presently the left front brake cylinder needs to be rebuilt. The
tires are new and the exhaust is quiet. I'm not sure if all the components are in perfect working order, so
plan on some maintenance and minor repairs before any serious touring.

Includes an original Wolseley Instruction Manual, original engine crank still clipped to the firewall and
original hand oiler can still be mounted on the firewall.

A real Time Capsule from the period! Reminiscent of a small Rolls Royce and definitely the same quality!
When was the last time you saw one? When will you ever find another one? In this condition!
