This is a beautiful 1940 Mercury Coupe that we just took in on consignment for a local gentleman here in Sun City, AZ. The car is in amazing condition inside and out. It has received a complete body of the frame restoration that was completed several years ago. The car shows as if it was restored just a few years ago which is a sign of a quality done restoration. Our consignor purchased the car as an investment from the previous owner. That owner purchased the car in 1974 and retained ownership of the car for over 40 years. He was also the one that had the car restored to correct, stock OEM specs. We also have documentation of the ownership history that will go with the car upon the sale. The production on this Merc is 16,189 and who knows how many have survived the test of time like this one here. Upon doing some research we only found a couple in comparable condition priced in the $60k range. Which makes this one a true bargain as the owner is very fairly priced, under the market value.
