Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *3 (Excellent Rare Classic)

This is a beautiful 1959 Imperial Crown Southampton 2 Door Hardtop in excellent condition inside and out with only 50k believed to be original miles on it. This is a beautiful driver that is mostly all original except for one repaint several years ago. We purchased this car out of a private collection in Las Vegas where the gentleman who owned it had passed away. We bought several cars out of the collection and this is the last one we have left. We just went through it mechanically, including the fuel system, a full tune-up and all the brakes putting it in excellent running and driving condition. These are very rare and very hard to find as it is one of only 1,728 ever produced. It has one of the rarest and prettiest color combinations of Gray Rose with a White top and Silver leather and Tan cloth interior. The car appears to have all original chrome and trim which is in great condition and it has excellent fit and finish throughout. It has a very straight body and is very solid for a vintage Chrysler product. This car has many great features and overall is a great cruiser and in great condition. It is very rare to find them this nice.

Exterior: *Condition #3

The exterior of this Imperial shows very well for a nice driver/cruiser and fun car to take to car shows in. It was repainted in its beautiful original and rare color of Gray Rose within the last 15 years or so. It is an older paint job abut still looks very nice and is a good quality driver paint job. It does haver a few imperfections here and there that we show in the video so please watch the video in full so you can see everything. The body itself is super straight and solid and everything fits excellent including all the gaps, chrome and trim. It appears to have all of its original chrome and trim that is in very good condition, again for a driver, as it's not show quality but very very nice still. It shows just the right amount of patina for a super rare and original car. All of the glass is crystal clear and in beautiful condition as well as all the chrome and stainless around the windows and it appears to have received a new windshield at some point. It is sitting on its original wheels and hubcaps that are near mint and it does have an older set of bias-ply wide white wall tires on it. If you are to drive it a lot we would probably recommend replacing them but they do ride really nice and they are just older and yellowing a little so we probably wouldn't trust them on any long trips but around town you should be fine. Overall this Imperial has an amazing look and is a real attention grabber that is sure to please.

Interior: *Condition #3

The interior of this car is in excellent condition as it is all original from the leather seats and cloth inserts, to the original carpeting. It has been very well taken care of and shows very nicely for being original. It shows a little wear on the drivers seat with one of the seams split and the carpet shows its age and we would replace it if you wanted to take it to the next level. The dash and gauge cluster is absolutely beautiful with no imperfections at all. The steering wheel is in amazing condition as well. Definitely one of the nicest original dash and gauge clusters we have ever seen. All the chrome and brightwork looks excellent, the headliner is original and looks great and all the door panels are original and look phenomenal too. The drivers door armrest does have a little splitting but could be repaired. Everything works in the car including the gauges, AM radio, wipers, horn, directionals, heater/defroster, power windows. What does not work are the courtesy lights, the power antenna, clock which could all be easy and inexpensive fixes. The power seat makes noises but does not work but this is usually just a matter of cleaning out the crystalized grease in the gear motor. All the weatherstripping is nice and supple and the sill plates look great as well. Inside the trunk is completely all original including the trunk liner, weatherstripping and carpet and looks excellent still with a few little stains here and there but nothing major. It does have its correct and beautiful white wall spare; we did not get the original jack with the car but that is something you can probably find. Overall it just has the right amount of patina inside but is in phenomenal condition for being all original.

Mechanically: *Condition #3+

Mechanically this Imperial is in really good shape and drives great. When we bought it it had been sitting for several years so we took it and had the whole car gone through. This includes taking the fuel tank out and cleaning it and the fuel lines out, the carburetor rebuilt, full tune-up, radiator flushed, redid all the brakes, the booster and rebuilt the emergency brake. It runs real smooth, shifts great and doesn't leak or smoke. The only thing we recommend again is to possibly replace the older tires as we mentioned before. Overall the car is in excellent running and driving condition and can be driven anywhere with ease and confidence.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3-

The underside of this car is all original and very solid for the most part. It does have a few little rust issues here and there but nothing really major. The front suspension looks very clean overall just like a 50k original mile car should and nothing seems to be loose or worn out entirely. It has an older exhaust system on it but it still sounds great and doesn't appear to have any leaks. Overall it is actually very solid and very clean for a vintage Chrysler product.
