Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #3 (Excellent Driver)

This is a beautiful 1958 Chevrolet Brookwood Station Wagon in excellent condition inside and out. This car is currently on consignment with us from one of our good customers here in Scottsdale, AZ. This is one of the most solid and rust-free Brookwood Wagons you'll ever come across as it has spent its whole life in the dry southwest. It had a fairly recent cosmetic and mechanical restoration performed within the last 5 years at a cost of over $25K as stated by the owner. It definitely was a nice car to start with because it appears to have all its original chrome, trim and aspects to the car. It was recently repainted, the engine and transmission were pulled and rebuilt, the front suspension upgraded with a tubular suspension, and power steering and power disc brakes put up front for excellent drivability. It truly does drive and run out excellent. It has an almost completely stock look except for the American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels which give it a kind of vintage and muscle car look. It is a super super clean car that you rarely find in the type of condition and as solid as this example is. This car is priced to sell and ready to be driven and enjoyed.

Exterior: *Condition #3

This Brookwood wagon shows wonderfully finished in its original two-tone color combination of Arctic White and Tropical Turquoise. The car received a recent cosmetic restoration in the last 5 years and has been repainted and looks beautiful. It received a very nice paint job that looks very nice and presentable. It appears to have all of its original trim and chrome which is all in excellent condition. The front bumper shows a few flaws here and there but overall it is excellent for a great driver like this wagon is. It appears to still have all its original glass in it which again is in very nice condition. Overall it has excellent fit and finish throughout and has definitely never been in an accident nor fully taken apart. A lot of the original aspects of this car were left and it looks great. The body is super straight down the sides and has a very nice stance. It is sitting on 15" American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels wrapped in BFG Radial T/A tires which give it that 60's hotrod look. It also has its original T3 headlights, original emblems and a lot of cool things that make it stand out and give it a very nice look.

Interior: *Condition #3-

The interior of the car is overall very clean and partially redone back to factory look. The seats look to have definitely been redone with very nice cloth and vinyl that matches the turquoise exterior. The door panels appear to be original and have a few flaws here and there but still look great. The steering wheel has been restored and looks excellent with no cracks. The dash looks to be mostly all original and very clean with added Sunpro Temp, Voltage and Oil Pressure gauges underneath. The carpets and headliner have been replaced and are very clean and look amazing. The weatherstripping has been replaced throughout the car as well and looks excellent. The rear cargo area has been lightly restored and looks very nice with the correct spare, jack etc. Overall it is very presentable and compliments the exterior of this wagon beautifully. Everything seems to work including all the gauges, horn, directions, wipers, original AM radio with the only exceptions being the heater blower fan and the courtesy lights which are easy fixes and could just be bulbs for the lights.

Mechanically: *Condition #3+

Mechanically this car is in top notch shape as the owner spent a lot money on it to run and drive great. It has the optional and rare 348ci "Turbo-Thrust" Big Block V8 in it with an automatic transmission. Both the engine and the transmission were removed and rebuilt and it runs and drives like a top. Under the hood is super clean and nice and you can see all the new components including a new alternator, upgraded front power disc brakes for superior stopping power with a new brake master cylinder, a new brake booster and overall is just very presentable and mechanically sound. This car does not need a thing mechanically as it rides and drives excellent.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3+

The underside of this car is totally rust-free, has never had any repairs done and you can see how this car has always spent its life in the southwest in dry climates. The front suspension has been completely rebuilt and upgraded with a tubular suspension. Tubular upper and lower control arms have been added, a new steering box, new brake lines, new power steering lines, and new springs in the rear suspension. Overall just super clean and dry underneath this beautiful and rare station wagon.
