Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #2- (Beautiful Originality)

This is an absolutely beautiful 1960 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 4dr Flat top in amazing original condition inside and out. This is an absolute true survivor car with only 32k original miles on it and it shows in its amazing original condition. This is one of the finest survivors we have seen in a long time in a 1960's classic. It has mostly original paint finished in copper mist with a white top and all original fawn interior. The car has looks that just don't quit. All of its original chrome is absolutely stunning and is a completely rust free car with an amazing body. It is possibly a factory executive car as it is loaded with every option I believe you could put on a 1960 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight including factory air conditioning, power seat, power windows, speed warning indicator, etc. This is our second time owning this car as we originally purchased it four years ago. It sold to one of our very good customers before we could even advertise it and this is the longest he has ever owned a car as he usually trades cars every year but kept this one for four years and traded it in to us. We originally bought this car out of an estate auction four years ago and don't really know the history on it, just that it has been extremely well kept, maintained and taken care of its whole life and it shows. It actually runs and drives like a 32k mile car should and mostly everything works in it. Its just an amazing car with newer wide white wall tires and would win any car show for a survivor or originality class. Overall it is just a very rare piece that you will never find again like this!

Exterior: *Condition #2- (Amazing Originality)

The exterior on this car is in absolutely wonderful condition for a true survivor. This car has about 90% original paint on it finished in sunset mist. That has an absolutely amazing finish that shines beautifully and is very well kept and taken care of. There is a few small touch ups in a few spots that the paint matches amazing and has a little patina in a few spots that are thin and some scrapes but are hardly noticeable and pointed out in the video. The white top is even beautiful and in original condition. The body is as solid as a rock and appears to be totally rust free, straight as an arrow, with amazing panel fitment never being hit or hurt in an accident. The chrome looks to be all original and looks like it was just re-chromed as the chrome and trim is one of the finest original sets I've seen on a car. It's all in very excellent condition with a few very minor flaws here and there that are also mentioned in the video. All of the lenses are in beautiful condition and has two original T3 headlights, all of the glass is absolutely beautiful and crystal clear. The right rear side glass was replaced but looks beautiful, all of the chrome frames on the windows and trim are all pristine. The car is sitting on its original wheels with beautiful original hubcaps in mint condition with a newer set of wide white wall radial tires in great condition so it rides excellent down the road.

Interior: *Condition #2-

The interior is absolutely magnificent as it is completely all original right down to the original carpet finished in fawn cloth and leather that is all in amazing condition. The dash is absolutely beautiful and original condition, the dash pad has a little warpage and one little hair line crack, the steering wheel is absolutely mint perfect, all of the chrome on the dash and inside is absolutely near perfect looking and almost brand new as there is no pitting or age showing at all. The carpet shows hardly any wear, the weather stripping is all original and pliable making it look like it's only a couple years old when its original. This car is very well equipped with options and almost everything works inside beautifully including the power seat, power windows, the gauges, the speed-warning indicator, the radio, the courtesy lights, the power antenna, the heater, the blower motor, the wipers, directionals, and the lights. The only thing requiring attention is the a/c needs to be serviced and the power trunk release does not work in the car, the wipers currently do not work but we are checking into them. Inside the trunk is like brand new mint with the original material, original spare, original jack, original jack instructions and the original weather stripping all just giving it an amazing look like nothing ever been inside of it.

Mechanically: *Condition #3+

Mechanically this car is in excellent condition as the previous owner drove it as a weekend toy to car shows and it runs and drives beautiful just like a 32k mile car should. It does not smoke, doesn't not appear to have any leaks and has its original 394ci Premium Rocket V8 engine with an automatic transmission. Under the hood is beautifully detailed and very nice with original paint on the firewall and inside fender wells. It is very stock and correct with a couple upgrades from the factory added for drivability including an upgraded aluminum radiator and electric fans, so if you are driving in the heat you will not have to worry about overheating. It has power steering, power brakes, factory a/c compressor (It blew ice cold 4 years ago when we sold it but we received the car back without a belt on it. So we are selling it with a/c not working and recommending a service on it, but can look into it for an extra charge is a/c is needed). The brakes appear to be excellent as it stops great, shifts great, and steers great making it not need anything mechanically. This car is ready to go to its new owner.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3+

This Under Carriage on this vehicle is very clean and rust free. All of the metal is original, the exhaust system looks newer and sounds great as well as the front suspension looking nice a clean with newer bushings and nothing looks worn out. Overall, the underside on this car is just very nice and clean.
