Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #4-

This is a rare find of a 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix convertible. This is a true garage find as it is a real one family owned Southern California car pretty much all of its life. It was bought by the original owners at Chazen Pontiac in Santa Monica, CA where it spent its whole life until the owners moved to Texas in 2000. Where the car was parked in a garage and never saw the light of day, until earlier this year when we acquired it from the original owners son. Since then, we have got the car running, driving, and cleaned up and this is the car as you see it. It still has the original California black plates with the selling dealers plate frames. As well as the original protect-o plate and lots of documentation, registration, manuals, and the original decals from the California Yacht Club where the owners were a member of. The car is nearly completely rust free and as solid as a rock and 99.9% complete. We recently got it running and driving and it is surprisingly excellent and even passed Arizona Emissions just a few weeks ago. The car has had bad one repaint in its none factory color several years ago and is in need of paint again. The interior is all original and overall in good condition with the original soft top and top boot. It is showing 114k miles which we believe to be original. This car is just a very super rare hard to find car with nearly all of the factory options. With a little tender loving care I have seen these cars bring $40 to $50k, which this car would not take much to get it to that condition. This is truly bargain priced and you can rarely find cars like this anymore!

Exterior: *Condition #4-

The exterior on this car looks decent from 10 feet away. But up close it has a rougher look as it had one bad repaint several years ago, maybe the 80's in its none factory color. The factory color was Champagne Poly but once again it looks decent from 10 feet away but up close has a lot of paint chips and dings. The plus side is it has a very straight body that is nearly completely rust free and has never been hit or hurt in an accident. It would be really easy to repaint this car to its original color and put a gorgeous paint job on it. As there is hardly any body work to be done, making it a very easy job to do. It does have all of its original chrome and trim, all of the trim is in very nice shape. The front and rear bumper chrome is in decent shape for a driver but if you were to repaint the car you would definitely redo the bumpers. The front valance under the bumper has been mangled up a little bit needing to be repaired and has one little bracket by the license plate missing. The glass is all original and in excellent condition with all of the emblems in tact. It is sitting on its original wheels with the optional wire caps in really nice shape with newer white wheel tires. The door handle and trim do show a little age and could be re-chromed if this car is repainted. It has its original soft top with a little tear in it, which I would replace if I were restoring the car with a new top boot as well as the current one is worn due to its age.

Interior: *Condition #4+

The interior is all original on the car and in very nice shape for being all original. It needs a few little repairs and a new set of carpet and you would actually save 90% of the interior to being original. The dash is very clean with a excellent dash pad, all of the wood grain is in good shape, there is no pitting, the clear steering wheel is in great shape. The door panels are nice shape with the exception of the carpet but the buttons do so some age and I would recommend replacing them. All of the weather stripping is in bad shape needing to be replaced. As far as what works in the car, the courtesy lights work, the power locks work, the power windows work but are a little slow needing to be lubed up, all of the gauges work including the speed and gas gauge and the power top works. The speed warning doesn't work, the radio doesn't work, the power antenna makes noise but doesn't work, the clock doesn't work, the heater and a/c do not work needing to be serviced, the headlights work but the headlight doors do not work for the hide away headlights. Inside of the trunk is all original with the original mat, correct spare and jack all in very nice shape. Underneath the rubber mat there is a little surface rust that can be cleaned up with a wire brush and spackle which is common due to moisture getting trapped in there between the mat and floor. Overall the interior is all original and very nice shape for the age and being original

Mechanically: *Condition #3

Mechanically this car runs and drives like a top with its original numbers matching 400 ci engine with an automatic transmission. The car was parked in 2000 and left until earlier this year when we took it out of storage and changed all the fluids, did a full tune-up and battery. The car started right up and ran like a top, even passing Arizona Emissions. It has power steering brakes so the car steers excellent and stops great. Mechanically it runs and drives super nice and doesn't really need anything mechanically besides checking out the hoses and a few other small things before driving it for a long distance.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3

This Under Carriage on this vehicle is super clean and as solid as a rock. All of the bushings decent and just overall very clean and solid as you would expect from a Southern California car. It has perfect solid floors and frame. There is just a little rust on the front, inner part of the rear wheel wells that would be both easy fixes.
