Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #2+ (Near Perfect Driver/Show Car)

This is an absolutely stunning 1960 Chevrolet Impala Convertible that has undergone a complete frame off restoration and is one of the finest in the Country. The restoration was done about 15 years ago and is one of the finest restorations we have seen. Looking like it was just done yesterday, holding up like a fine wine. It is near flawless and is done to top quality standards with only 4,100 miles on it since it was done. Being a California car since new, it was sold new at Courtesy Chevrolet in Los Angeles and has never seen any rust at all in its entire life. The car is such high quality it spent several years in a General Motors private collection where it was sold with 2,200 miles and the most recent owner, who acquired it last year put about 1,900 miles on it since. This car is ready to go and is fully serviced from front to back. The vintage air conditioning was added under the dash to look like the dealer added air and had nothing modified. It was a beautiful installation. Under the hood is its factory correct 348ci V8 Tri-Power motor with the very rare automatic turbo-glide transmission and the whole drivetrain was rebuilt on it. Looking underneath this car you will notice how stunning it is, needing absolutely nothing. This car overall is one of the finest out there and recently had an overwhelming number of votes for best of show, in a Palm Springs Classic Car Show. Do not miss this opportunity to own this absolutely stunning and rare piece of American history.

Exterior: *Condition #1-

The Exterior on this Impala is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. This car was restored over 15 years ago and looks like it was just done yesterday. It is one of the finest quality restorations we have seen on an Impala or vintage car period. The white paint finish is top quality with all of the body panels fitting absolutely amazing. It is completely rust free as it was sold new in California and spent most of its life there. Every piece of chrome and trim has been redone. The lenses and emblems have been replaced, overall this car is very spectacular. It does not get any better than this and its completely show quality. I have seen six figure cars that don't look as good as this one here. The wheels are factory original with a couple very little chips in them and it has the optional spinner hubcaps with brand new Coker white wall pie crust radial tires which are very expensive.

Interior: *Condition #1-

The interior on this Impala is near perfect as every last piece has been redone. It has the factory black and white houndstooth interior. The carpet, is correct and every piece inside the car has been redone including all of the chrome and the steering wheel was restored. The dash is absolutely show quality looking like a piece of jewelry. As far as stuff working inside, the gauges all work, the factory AM radio has been converted to a digital AM/FM radio internally which works, the glovebox light works, the A/C works, and all of the glass and weather stripping looks brand new. Inside of the trunk looks like nothing has ever been in there with the correct material, jack and spare and a perfect brand new black Electron Top with a restored frame on the car.

Mechanically: *Condition #2+

Mechanically this Impala runs and drives amazing and is fully serviced with only 4k miles on it since the restoration of the rebuilt drivetrain. Every piece underneath the hood was all done right and is all factory correct looking and absolutely show quality looking like a piece of jewelry. It has a Vintage A/C and heater system installed in the car that looks like the under dash unit installed my dealerships in 1960. With this upgrade you get a new A/C compressor and an excellent performing system. It even has an upgraded aluminum radiator to keep the car cool on hot summer days. It shifts and drives great and is just mechanically excellent. The most recent owner had just driven the vehicle from Phoenix to Tucson as well as Phoenix to Northern Arizona a few months ago. He cut zero corners making sure this vehicle was one of the best on the market and making sure it was very reliable with all of the bugs and kinks worked out. You can jump in this car and take it on a trip with confidence, which is a very rare feeling for a classic car most of the time.

Under Carriage: *Condition #2+

This Under Carriage on this Impala is absolutely stunning and beautifully restored. It is restored underneath as well as it is on top as all of the floors are original with no rust and all original spot welds in them. The suspension has all been rebuilt and the exhaust is brand new. The transmission and driveshaft have the factory correct markings on them and just looks brand new underneath. It runs and shifts phenomenal. The only recommendation would be a light cleaning underneath, as it has been driven 1,900 miles in the last year. But is extremely clean considering it has been driven.
