Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #2- (Near Perfect Driver)

This is an amazing, super rare 1958 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Holiday 2-Door Hardtop with a factory J2 option and factory A/C. It was sold new in Montana to a big Oil Tycoon. It was a special order for his wife, in a one year only color which is Oldsmobile Heather on the body and Mountain Haze Iridescent on the top. The original couple owned this vehicle for many years before selling it to the second owner, who is the gentlemen we acquired this vehicle from, which owned it from 20-30 years. He spent several years cosmetically restoring this low mileage vehicle, which was finished around 2012. In the restoration, the paint was all redone in the factory ordered colors, under the hood was highly detailed, and the interior was done with all the correct materials using real leather, correct OEM fabric and correct “sparkle” carpet. This car was judged in 2012 at an AACA Hershey Meet and took second place only because it had radial tires on it. This is really a first place car. This is one of the rarest Oldsmobile's on the market with its options and color combo, do not miss your chance to own this gorgeous rare automobile. Just try finding another one!!

Exterior: *Condition #2-

Overall this car is in gorgeous condition and was cosmetically fully restored. Finished in 2010 to 2012, done in its original colors of Oldsmobile Heather and Mountain Haze Iridescent. The paint finish is excellent and I would rate it an 8 out of ten. The Body is completely rust free and is straight as an arrow! This car has not been in any accidents and the chrome trim is absolutely gorgeous with crystal clear glass and lenses. There are a couple small imperfections on the exterior, which were there since the restoration. There are a few small imperfections in the paint finish and a couple items of chrome showing the copper. I show these items in my video but they are very minor and hardly noticeable to most.

Interior: *Condition #2+

The interior was redone with all correct OEM material and is 100% correct to the way it was from the factory. The interior restoration includes the correct shiny sheen leather that has the correct embossed imprints, the correct metallic fabric, correct sparkle carpet with the metallic in it and the headliner was restored. The dash is amazing and looks like Jewelry with all new refinished chrome, restored gauges, radio, dash pad and steering wheel. The car looks like new in show condition inside and everything inside is in working condition with the exception of the clock. All of the weather stripping is like new. The trunk has all of the correct material, the correct spare tire with paint matched spare wheel with the factory jack. This interior is absolutely gorgeous and one of the finest you will find on a 1958 Oldsmobile.

Mechanically: *Condition #2

Mechanically, this vehicle is in great running condition. It only has 37k original miles with the 371ci J2 Tri-Power Engine and an Automatic Transmission. We do not know if the motor was rebuilt in the restoration. But because of the low mileage, the engine runs extremely strong. We had the car completely checked out and went through the full Tri-Power system. We also just went through the air conditioning system, which blows ice cold. The whole engine bay is fully detailed, is all stock and very clean. It has excellent brakes and stops excellent.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3+

This Under Carriage on this vehicle is super clean and all original. Looking underneath this vehicle you can tell it has never been in an accident, in the snow, or has had anything painted underneath it. It is just nice and original. The suspension is nice and tight and feels like it should with only 37k miles. It does appear to have some new bushings in the front end but overall the underside of this car is very clean in excellent shape. It is 100% rust free with no repairs ever.
