Overview:

Here is an absolutely beautiful 1986 Corvette Convertible Indy Pace Car. This is an all-original car in mint condition with only 30K original miles on it. These pace cars were replicas offered by Chevrolet, of the original Indy 500 track cars. It was the first year for a convertible Corvette since 1986, a limited production run and 1 of only 732 produced in the color of Yellow. This is the most desirable color combo for this car today, in rarity and collectability. It also has its National Corvette museum documentation, which includes its original GM build sheet. The car is powered by its original L98 tuned port injected 350ci engine and factory 4-speed transmission. It has had amazing storage throughout the years, well maintained, clean Car Fax and just an over all just an excellent car!!

Exterior:

This Corvette shows beautifully and is one of the cleanest pace cars and even mid eights Corvettes you will come across. It is finished in its original color of rare Yellow with all original paint. The finish looks amazing and is near flawless. All of the glass and rubber on the car is in great, as new condition. The original black soft top looks excellent also. It is sitting on its mint original wheels with no curb rash and newer BFG tires. This car is truly cleaner then others I have seen with single digit miles.

Interior:

It has a very clean, all original gray leather interior that looks amazing. The seats are nice and soft and supple. The digital dash is in excellent working order along with all the gauges. All the power options work great and the air conditioning blows ice cold. There is even a set of Corvette floor mats. The inside is again, nice, as you will find one.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives excellent. It has its original L98 TPI 350ci V8 engine with smooth shifting 4-Speed manual transmission. Under the hood is clean as a whistle. It truly runs and drives like a nice, untouched, original low mileage car should. It is very quiet, tight and a pleasure to drive!
