Overview:

Here is an absolutely beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird convertible in excellent condition inside and out. This is one of the most desirable and rarest thunderbirds built, as it is factory equipped with the E-Code, extra high performance 312ci V8 engine with dual quads and a factory 3-speed manual transmission. It is truly one the nicest, unmolested '57 t-birds I have seen in a while. This is a long time California car with a super straight and solid body with excellent fit and finish. It is also one of the best running and driving early T-birds we have ever driven. Everything works in this car from the original radio to the clock, to even the Dial-O-Matic 4 way memory power seats. The car shows 35k miles on it, which we believe to be original but we do not have documentation. It drives like a true low mileage car and even has a lot of original interior and chrome on the car, which is all in very nice condition still. It also has both tops, which include its folding soft top and port hole hardtop that are both in excellent condition. This is just a great all around car that is ready to drive and enjoy. It is priced great as I have seen them sell as high as $100K plus. Don't wait, as this car will not last long!

Exterior:

This Thunderbird shows beautifully in its original color of Starmist blue. I believe this car had a nice cosmetic restoration on a nice low mileage car with in the last 10 years or so. It is just a clean, never abused car upon close inspection. The body is solid as a rock and super straight. Everything fits excellent on the car especially the doors. Bad fitting doors are always a sign of issues on these early Thunderbirds. The paint is in excellent condition and I would rate it a solid 7 out of ten for a beautiful driver, that is show and go. All the chrome is in beautiful condition and shows amazing. It all looks to have been redone but some items are original like the door handles, emblem surrounds and windshield trim. Those are again signs that this was a well-kept car all its life. All the weather-stripping looks fairly new and all the glass is excellent. It is sitting on its original wheels, mint turbine hubcaps and nice wide white wall radial tires. The white hardtop is in beautiful condition and looks like it was restored. The white canvas soft top is also in great condition. This car just and has an overall beautiful, clean look!

Interior:

The factory two-tone blue interior looks excellent in this car and looks to be a mix of original and redone, which really shows how well this car was cared for. With close inspection it looks to have had newer OEM seat covers and newer carpeting. Other then that the door panels, dash and dash pad look to be in amazing original condition. The dash, gauges, interior chrome and engine turned aluminum are all very bright and clean. Everything works in the car, which includes the clock, radio, lights, horn and even the memory power seat.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives absolutely amazing. It has its correct dual quad 312ci V8 engine that is all stock with its original air cleaner. Under the hood is beautifully detailed and correct. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready to drive and enjoy. It is truly one o the nicest running and driving early t-birds I've had the pleasure of driving. It runs and drives like a true low mileage car. The under side is also very nice and clean. It has a very tight suspension and excellent brakes. It sounds great and shifts smooth.
