Overview:

Here is an absolutely beautiful, all original 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500 convertible that is truly one of the finest in the world. This car only has 9,600 pampered original miles on it. It spent many years in a private collection in California and most recently in Arizona, so the car is totally rust free. It has always been well stored, taken care of and maintained and it shows. This car is as close to showroom new as your going to find one. It was ordered with the only two options you could get on a Spitfire, which are a hardtop and overdrive. The car still even retains its original window sticker, owner's manual and dealer sale brochure. This is a super desirable Inca Yellow car with a black and white hounds tooth interior and it is completely all-original. It is optioned identical to the last Spitfire built in 1980 which sits in the British Motor Heritage museum. The car is near flawless and looks like it just came off the showroom floor. We just had the car completely serviced mechanically from front to back. Everything on this car is excellent and it needs absolutely nothing. It truly runs and drives like a new car and is an absolute pleasure to drive. It doesn't get any better then this. If you want the best, here it is!!

Exterior:

This Triumph has an absolutely stunning, original Inca Yellow paint finish. It has an absolutely laser straight body that has almost no flaws. The car is completely rust free and solid as a rock. The car has excellent rubber and beautiful crystal clear glass. It has all original decals and rubber bumpers have no nicks. The original black soft looks like new with its original black top boot. It is sitting on its original wheels and new tires, as the original were bad just due to age. This car truly shows like a diamond and it would near impossible to find another one like it.

Interior:

The stunning original black and white hounds tooth interior looks like new. The dash, gauge cluster and steering wheel all look mint. Every single thing works on this car. From my research these cars did not come factory with a radio, but did come with a spot to mount the radio, a speaker, wiring and an antenna so the buyer could install one later. The wood dash in the car is excellent. Inside the trunk is like new with its original spare and jack in its original bag. There is even a matching umbrella in the truck that could have been with the car since new and if so, that is extremely rare. All the boots and covers come with their own storage bags.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives like new. It is all stock, #'s matching and very well maintained. It has its original 1493cc Inline 4cyl engine with a 4-speed transmission and option over drive that shifts smooth as butter. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready to drive and enjoy. Under the hood is all original, completely stock, extremely clean and has all its original decals and markings. The wheel wells and underside of the car are absolutely clean as can be with all its original yellow paint and is in unbelievable condition. You will NOT find a cleaner or nicer Spitfire around!
