Overview:

Here is a beautiful 1970 Pontiac GTO “Ram Air III” 2dr HT in excellent condition inside and out. It a true “PHS documented” GTO and a real “Ram Air III” car finished in Atoll blue. This is a very rare and clean car that has been very well taken care of and it shows. The car spent most of its life in the southwest, particularly Las Vegas, Nevada and it is completely rust free with all its original sheet metal. This GTO was partially restored with in the last several years but still retains most of its original interior. It does have an added Judge appearance, which looks great on the car but can easily be removed if desired. The car has a great stance and presence. It runs and drives amazing and is a true blast to drive. This one very clean and rare GTO that won't last too long!

Exterior:

This GTO shows beautifully finished in Atoll Blue, but its original color was Bermuda Blue. It was probably painted with in the last several years and looks great with a nice smooth, hand rubbed finish. It does have a couple very minor flaws, which you really need to look hard for and I show in detail, in my video. There is one hairline flaw in the endura front bumper and only a couple very small bubbles coming up from some moisture trapped under the paint. You really have to look hard to see them but I am mentioning them for full disclosure. This has been a southwest car for most of its life so it is completely rust free with all its original sheet metal. The under side is clean and dry with no undercoating or repairs. The body is super straight with excellent fit and finish. It has excellent chrome and trim that looks like new. All the glass in the car is excellent. Overall the car really has that nice clean unmolested look and shows beautifully. It is sitting on its correct, restored Rally wheels with raised white letter tires.

Interior:

The interior on the car very clean is mostly all original with exception of newer carpet and a dash cap. The seats, door panels and headliner are all original and look excellent with the exception of one small slit in the bottom drivers seat cushion that is hardly noticeable. The original dash pad has a couple cracks from the hot Nevada sun so it has a new dash cap installed. The gauge cluster is very clean bright and the optional 3 spoke steering wheel is in great condition. It has all new weather stripping throughout the car. There is an aftermarket AM-FM cassette radio in the car that sounds great. Everything works except the clock, power locks and heater, which are both easy fixes. Inside the trunk is very clean with its correct trunk mat, jack and spare.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives excellent. It has its correct but not #'s matching 400ci 4bbl V8 engine. It has a YS block in the car but should have a YZ block. It is a factory Ram Air III car and has all its correct and functional Ram Air equipment under the hood. The car runs very strong like a true Ram Air car should and is very fast. It also drives the part as it is very tight and is a true pleasure to drive. Under the hood is beautifully detailed and looks amazing. This GTO really needs nothing to drive and enjoy today.
