Overview:

Here is an absolutely magnificent find! It is an extremely rare, 1959 Chrysler Windsor Town & Country station wagon with only 49K original miles on it from new. This is a true survivor, as it almost completely all original with only one repaint in its original colors of Light Ivory and Copper Spice. It is a stunning car and extremely rare as it is one of only 977 produced in 1959. This is most likely one of the finest examples left. It has the highly desirable 383ci “Golden Lion” V8 engine with an automatic, PS, PB and original dealer installed air conditioning. To top off this already amazing car, it is sitting on a beautiful set of factory Chrysler chrome wire wheels and wide white wall tires. It does not get any better then this with tremendous investment potential!!

Exterior:

This '59 Chrysler looks absolutely amazing with only one repaint done in its original colors of Light Ivory and Copper Spice. It still has all of its original paint in the jams and all original weather-stripping. All of the chrome and trim is in amazing original condition and shows beautifully. It is all very bright and shiny. A few pieces of the side trim have a couple very minor dings, which I show in the video and can be fixed easily. The body is super straight with excellent fit and finish. It is also completely rust free with all original sheet metal. It is sitting on a beautiful set of Chrysler chrome wire wheels with like new wide white wall tires that really set it off nicely.

Interior:

The interior is completely all original in the car and shows amazingly. It is original right down the rubber floor mats. It is truly one of the nicest original interiors I have ever seen in an early Chrysler. The dash and gauge cluster is as bright and clean as the day it was new. The original steering wheel is perfect. Everything works in the car including the original radio. The air conditioning is the only thing that does not work and just needs to be serviced. This is a dealer installed under dash unit that was most likely put on from the selling dealer when it was new. The original jack and spare are still in the rear compartment. This is a true time capsule!

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives excellent. It has its original, highly desirable 383ci “Golden Lion” V8 engine with its original push button automatic. The suspension is very tight and the brakes work great. Under the hood is beautiful and wonderfully detailed. It is all original except for the air cleaner which looks to have been repainted in its correct color. The air conditioning is complete but just needs to be serviced. It is ready to drive and enjoy. It truly runs and drives like a 49K original mile car should!
