Overview:

Here is a beautiful 1949 Cadillac “Series 61” Club Coupe, otherwise known as the sedanette or fastback. This one of the most beautiful Cadillac's ever built with some of the sexiest bodylines. It is one of only 6,409 built in 1949, which makes this baby very rare also. This particular car was restored a few years ago and is a mild hot rod with many extra features that anyone would want in a vintage cruiser like this. The car is mostly all stock appearing with only a few custom touches like a lowered suspension and billet wheels, which could be changed if you desire a different look. On the inside it has many comforts like ice cold vintage air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, rack & pinion steering, power windows, leather, CD sound system and more. It is even still power by its correct Cadillac 331ci V8 engine and automatic transmission. If you're looking for a great Cadillac fastback to drive and enjoy, this is the one to own!!

Exterior:

This Cadillac looks excellent finished in very rich dark charcoal metallic. As I stated before this car was restored a few years ago. It shows beautifully and makes great driver and car show cruiser but has a few very minor flaws just due to age. The paint finish shows excellent but upon very close inspection there a couple imperfections, like a few chips that have been touched up, a little shrinkage in a spot and a few other minor sports which are all documented in the pictures I took and in the video. Overall it shows beautifully with a very solid and straight body. Everything line up excellent on the car and it appears to be completely rust free. All the chrome and trim on the car is in very good condition, again with a couple minor imperfections you have to be looking for which I documented on the pictures and video. All the rubbers and glass are in great shape. The windows are mildly tinted and look nice against the charcoal paint. It is sitting on very collectable, real Boyd Coddington billet aluminum wheels with newer tires. This Caddy overall has a really nice look to it!!

Interior:

The stunning two tone gray, genuine leather interior shows amazing and was done right. It is a very high quality leather interior. The dash and gauge cluster is beautiful and nicely restored. All the gauges and lights work and it has a couple under dash gauges for better accuracy. There is a very nice sounding CD stereo system with a power antenna in it that works great. It also has power windows and ice-cold vintage air conditioning that works amazing and was installed to look factory. Inside the trunk is also nicely finished and has its correct spare.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives great. It has its correct 331ci V8 engine with a 4bbl carb and automatic transmission that runs great. The suspension has been lowered and upgraded with rack and pinion, power front disc brakes and added power steering for driving ease. It has ice-cold, vintage air conditioning that works absolutely amazing. This car needs nothing mechanically and is ready to drive and enjoy.
