Overview:

Here is a very nice 1983 Rolls Royce Corniche convertible in good condition inside and out. This car we recently purchased from the estate of the previous long time owner, who owned the car for 20 plus years. The car was sitting for several years and we got the car up running and driving again. It runs and drives pretty well now by flushing the fuel system and giving it a fresh tune up. It still needs some attention mechanically if you want to start driving it long distances. We just did the minimum to get it going. I would go through and check the whole car out yet since its been parked for so long. This is a 63K original mile car, which is a big plus. The exterior is actually really pretty nice and it looks great. It has a few flaws on the body and interior that would need some attention to take it to the next level. Or the car can be driven just the way it sits and still look great. We have this car more the fairly priced and may be the most reasonably priced Corniche on the market with plenty of room for advancement. What a great investment!!

Exterior:

This Rolls shows very well and has been painted once in its original color of white. It really has a very nice paint job with just a few flaws that would be easy fixes. There are two scrapes on both of the passenger side wheel wells, a couple of dings on the left side rocker and small crack in the paint on top of the firewall. Overall the car is 99 percent rust free with the exception of the couple bubbles on the rocker. The body is over all super straight with a nice smooth finish that shines great. All the chrome and trim on the car is excellent. The soft top is showing its age a bit with a few flaws. It is fine the way it is or to be perfect, it would need to be redone. It is sitting on its original wheels with near mint hubcaps and wide white wall tires that look great.

Interior:

The interior is a mix of new and original and looks very nice for a driver. The front seats have been redone and look great. The rear seat is original and showing minor some wear. The door panels and carpet are original and look very nice. The leather around the dash, kick panels and around the windshield are shrinking a little. The veneer on the wood dash is cracking and the veneer on the doors are showing some age. All the gauges seem to work good as well as all the lights. The top boot is original and is showing its age. It needs to be conditioned and is missing some buttons. In the trunk is original and still looks pretty nice for a driver.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives pretty well for sitting for so long. We flushed the fuel system, replaced the fuel filters and resealed the fuel injection system. I would go through the car a little more, having it checked out before I would drive it a lot. The brake pressure light is on but it seams to stop well and the shocks are leaking a touch after it sits a while. Those items are both fixable. The air conditioning does not work but could just need a recharge. We just did the bare minimum to get the car running and driving and are leaving the rest of the fine-tuning to the next owner. Under the hood is nice and clean and all stock. The underside of the car is also nice and clean and rust free.
