Overview:

Here is a beautiful 1953 Cadillac Series 62 4-door sedan in excellent condition inside and out. This is a very solid, rust free Southwest car showing only 42K believed to be original miles. It is a super clean, well-taken car of car all its life and it shows. It is power by its correct 331ci V8 engine and automatic transmission. The car is finished in its original color of beautiful and striking Gloss Green with a Forrest Green roof with a beautiful correct broadcloth interior. It is truly an excellent example of a '53 Cadillac. It did win best in show at a car show not too long ago and we have the plaque it received. These cars are getting harder and harder to find especially in this kind of condition!!

Exterior:

This Cadillac had one repaint in its original color of striking Gloss Green with a Forrest Green top done a few years ago. The paint was done right, as it is nice and straight down the sides and it was hand rubbed to a smooth finish. The car has never been hit or hurt and the fit and finish is excellent. It has a solid, rust free body and underside. All the chrome bright work on the car is in really nice condition and could possibly be all original. All of the glass and rubbers are very good in the car also. The windshield has one small chip and the vent windows have an etching of a flower in them. They can be left alone or replaced. It is sitting on its original wheels and hubcaps with excellent wide white wall radial tires!

Interior:

The all correct, beautiful interior is done in light green and dark green broadcloth and looks excellent. I believe this interior could be all original but almost looks to nice. The dash and gauge cluster is very bright and clean. It has a very nice steering wheel. All the gauges, lights, interiors light, horn and wipers all work great. The original AM radio turns on and makes noise but doesn't seam to get any channels. Inside the truck is very clean with its correct spare and jack.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives excellent. It has its correct 331ci V8 engine with an upgraded carb on it. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready to drive and enjoy. The suspension is nice and tight and the car rides smooth. This car is ready to drive and enjoy!!
