Overview:

Here is a very rare and very clean 1970 Oldsmobile 422 W-30 Holiday Coupe in excellent condition inside and out. This is what I would call a very nice survivor for the most part, as it is a 52k original miles with mostly original interior and a lot nice original aspects. This is a real, #'s matching W-30 that was gone over by a local Olds fanatic and the car checks out as the real deal. It has the #'s matching 455ci 370hp ram air engine and is all correct and original under the hood with original air cleaner and red plastic fender wells. This is also a factory 4-speed car but the transmission is not original to the car. It was a special order paint color, which is shown on the trim tag with two dashes. Under the trunk lid is the original paint still and from my research I believe the color is Sebring Yellow. This also looks to be a long time southwest car as it is solid as a rock and rust free with all original sheet metal. The car runs and drives like a true low mileage car that has never been taken apart. This is a truly and very rare find as they only built 2,574 W-30's in 1970 and who knows how many are still around. They rarely ever come available in this nice and very original condition. This car is priced way under the market as these W-30's are known for bringing $100K plus at auction. Here your chance to get a great car with out braking the bank. I do not have any original documentation for the car but I have not looked for the original build sheet which could still be in the car.

Exterior:

This 442 really shows excellent finished in its original special ordered color of Sebring Yellow. I would rate is as an above average, good paint finish that was done ten plus years ago and is showing its age is a few spots. The car looks great from five feet away but upon close inspection there are a few flaws like some lacquer cracks in the drivers door and quarter panel, a few chips here and there and the black on the hood is getting a little thin in a few spots. I believe the car has very nice survivor character and I would leave it just the way it is. Most people would think it is excellent but I am very picky. The chrome and trim on the car is very nice. The front bumper looks to have been rechromed and the rear is original showing some age. Everything on the car lines up excellent and fits greats. Down the sides of the car is nice and straight. This car is perfect to leave alone and drive the way it sits! It is sitting on its original rally wheels and BFG tires that are showing there age and would need to be replaced if you're going to drive it a lot.

Interior:

The interior in the car looks amazing and is all original except for the carpeting which was replaced at one time. The dash and gauge cluster is very bright and clean. The seats, door panels and headliner are all original look excellent. The drivers seat has two very small cuts in the seat that are hardly noticeable. Everything works in the car except for the radio, clock and courtesy lights, which are all easy fixes. The radio under the dash I can't get to turn on but I would remove it. Inside the trunk is very clean and solid with its correct spare and trunk mat. The jack looks to be missing. Under the trunk lid is its original paint and jack instructions. You can see in the pictures how clean and nice it still is.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives amazing, just like a low mileage car should. It is a 52k original mile car that looks and runs the part. It has its original, #'s matching 455ci 370hp ram air engine in the car with original exhaust manifold's and aluminum intake. I was told the carb is correct but just not the correct one for the car. This is a factory 4-speed car but the transmission is out of a 1971 or 1972 Olds. Under the hood is very clean and original with its original Ram Air, air cleaner and original red plastic fender wells. It has its original fiberglass hood. The rear end is also believed to be original for the car. The car always starts right up and shifts like butter. You won't find a nicer running and driving W-30 out there. It is very fast and very fun to drive!!
