Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #3 (Very Nice Highly Original Condition)

Here is a very rare find! It is a beautiful 1964 Buick Riviera Sport Coupe in excellent condition inside and out. This is a factory numbers matching 425ci 365hp dual quad Super Wildcat Buick Riviera that has its factory numbers matching code KX engine. This is basically the same car as a 1965 Grand Sport that is doing six figures today. It is 1 of only 2,122 cars with this rare engine option. The car is an original black plate California car that is completely rust free and spent its whole life in Southern California. It sold new in Inglewood, CA at Sparling Buick and the original selling dealers frame is still on the license plates. It recently came out of a long-term storage in SoCal and shows 67k miles, which we strongly believe to be actual miles. It is somewhat of a survivor as it is a mostly original car with one repaint in its original color of Wedgewood Blue and the interior is a mix of redone and original in very nice condition. The car is loaded with factory options including rare aluminum wheels, tilt wheel, sport wood wheel, factory air conditioning, power everything and the list goes on. Again this is truly an investment piece that's only going up as these cars are very hard to find and '65 Grand Sports are doing $100k plus all day long. One car very similar to this sold at Barrett Jackson for $60k with the same dual quad engine and they are just getting harder and harder to find. This is truly one to own!

Exterior: *Condition #3-

The exterior on this car is in absolutely beautiful condition and it shows wonderfully as it is a completely rust free, super straight body with excellent fit and finish completely though out as it has never really been taken apart or in an accident. It has had one repaint in its original color of code H Wedgewood Blue, which is a very pretty color and looks like it has been painted within the last 10 years and is a very nice color sand and buff paint job with hardly any flaws on it. The car has what appears to be all original chrome and trim in excellent condition, all the glass is original with the windshield having to little marks in it that are small, the weather stripping looks to be new, the jams appear to be original paint and it is sitting on its original optional finned aluminum wheels with 2-bar spinners that have white wall radial tires. The tires are straight as an arrow and overall the car is just very clean and presentable when you look at the car with its original black plates. The front plate bracket is in the trunk with the front plate to go with it.

Interior: *Condition #3

The interior is absolutely beautiful in white leather that is a mix of new and nice original for a very clean interior through out. The car has brand new butter soft leather seat upholstery done in the correct pattern and looks absolutely beautiful with new carpet and all original appearing door panels and dash in very nice condition. All of the chrome is very nice with no pitting at all and nice original wood grain that is a little faded from its original luster. The dash pad has been recovered, it does have its original headliner, and the glove box door needs an adjustment but is not latching. Everything works in the car including the power seats, power windows, the directionals, horn, heater, radio, trunk release, courtesy lights, lights and even the clock works with the exception of the air condition being all there but not kicking on so it needs a service as well as the cruise control and speed warning indicator. (Update, We had the A/C checked out and it appears to have been just low on Freon and is currently blowing cold) Inside the trunk is super clean with all the correct material, spare, jack, decal and original paint. The spare tire is not fitting where its supposed to be as the newer radial tire will not fit where its supposed to be but the holder and jack are all there.

Mechanically: *Condition #3

Mechanically this car is in excellent condition and it runs and drives excellent. The car has its correct, #'s Matching, KX code 425ci 360hp Dual Quad Super Wildcat Engine with an Automatic Transmission and runs like a top, like a car that is believed to be 67k original miles should run. The car runs and drives very strong and straight with great working brakes. Underneath the hood, is very nicely detailed and clean. Overall, this it is very nice mechanically and ready to go to its new owner to drive and enjoy.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3

This Under Carriage on this vehicle is super clean and completely rust free and dry with no undercoating or rust anywhere. This is one of the most solid Riviera's you will find underneath and it has a new dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers and resonators done correctly. The front suspension is nice and tight and a lot of it looks to be recently rebuilt. The engine and tranny appears to have never been out of it but has a little residue underneath and doesn't leak hardly at all.
